Prospect Park Cascade
I visited Prospect Park in Brooklyn for the first time this week. It is the second park designed by Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux. Their first was Central Park. It is said they experimented with design in Central Park and perfected it with Prospect Park. Pictured here is the Prospect Park cascade

I like the way the woods and ravine make a visual tunnel to the falls. The light seeping through is wonderful! I can't believe this waterfall actually in Brooklyn!
