Halloween Parade
Using the front cameras on their cell phones these musicians are applying their makeup prior to playing in the NYC Village Halloween Parade. Some of my observations of the parade can be found at "https://halloweenparadenyc.smugmug.com/Halloween-2018/Harveys-Halloween-Hoots/". I was interested in: the range of costumes, the enthusiasm of the participants, the enthusiasm and size of the crowds, people viewing from all kinds of locations, and the extensive use of cell phones for photography and selfies. I obtained a press pass and was able to walk the entire distance of the parade.

Great shots! I've always wondered what inspires people to dress in costume, go to masquerade balls and such. I'm no closer to knowing, but these photos capture joy, the love of being seen, tremendous creativity and playfulness. Love it. So glad you shared so many images.
