Fire Island Lighthouse

It is not easy photographing the milky way (or any stars) in the rain.  But you make the best of what is presented to you.  On a workshop with "National Parks at Night", it was a collaborative venture to light paint and shoot the Fire Island Lighthouse.  The multiple rays from the lighthouse is a technique taught at the workshop.

Really beautiful. Looks like a painting! Arn said it would make a good Christmas Card.

Nicely done, Harvey. You mentioned rain. Was it raining at the time? Did you have to do much post capture?
