Malba Museum

I question if this is my art or not?  It is a section of a painting in the Malba Museum in Buenos Aires, Argentina.  Of course the reflections are not a part of the art work so I guess the Photo is my creation from someone else's art.

I like the ephemeral reflection added to sculpture! It defiantly adds an extra "element" for juxtaposition to the art work below. I think it is fun to do. However, there are two artists represented in the photo. The first artist has no control over what the 2nd artist adds to the to the piece. I think of the Bull and the Little Girl on Wall Street.

It’s your photograph. Let others decide if it’s “art’’ or not “art”.

I believe art and photography go hand in hand. The shadow and reflection was caught in its natural state reflected and caught as it was cast upon the wall. This would even have occurred if it was only the wall. Excellent capture in this moment you saw it. Abstract photography or reflected photography is part of the art of being a good photographer when capture the moment. Don't let anybody else tell you differently.

A can if worms. I prefer to say any photo that includes artwork by another is a documentary photo and not art.
