Central Park in Bronze (www.centralparkinbronze.com) is a website devoted exclusively to the statues and other ornamental artwork in Central Park. Created by a group of tour guides, the site provides a virtual tour of the art in New York City’s premier park.

I am one of the creators of the website capturing each piece of art in a variety of views, including pictures in different seasons and close-ups that show fine details. The photographs are available for purchase through the website.

In addition to photographs, the website offers information about each statue, its creator, materials, and history including the life of the person depicted, as well as a map of the exact location. The website writers, Alan Cohen and Lyall Croft along with editor Laurie Lewis expand on topics of interest in a blog. Visitors to the website can sign up to receive notification when a new blog is posted.  The website is designed by Debra Harley.
